Tax Forms

T4As are issued by Advanced Education when a student receives more than $500 of scholarship or award funding per calendar year.

T4As are issued for the calendar year in which the scholarship or award amount was paid – not for the year in which the scholarship or award was scheduled to be disbursed.

Students with questions about the tax implications of their scholarships and awards should contact the Canada Revenue Agency or speak to their accountant.
