The Alberta Student Aid scholarships and awards funding year is based on a student's study period start date. If a student’s study period begins:
- on or after August 1, 2026, they must complete the applicable application forms dated 2026-2027 for the scholarship/award.
- on or after August 1, 2027, they must wait for the release of the 2027-2028 scholarship/award applications available August 1, 2027.

Applications for the scholarship and awards programs can be found in your Alberta Student Aid account or on the Alberta Scholarships page on studentaid.alberta.ca.
Students must submit completed applications to Alberta Scholarships in one of the following ways:
- Apply Online - Login to your Alberta Student Aid Account and securely complete all required sections of the application and upload any supporting documents.
- Fill out and mail applications with any supporting documents to:
