Application Availability

Alberta Student Aid’s scholarship and award applications are available August 1.

The Alberta Student Aid scholarships and awards funding year is based on a student's study period start date. If a student’s study period begins:

• on or after August 1, 2023, they must complete the applicable application forms dated 2023-2024 for the scholarship/award.
  
  
• on or after August 1, 2024, they must wait for the release of the 2024-2025 scholarship/award applications available August 1, 2024.

Applications for the scholarship and awards programs can be found on the Alberta Scholarships page on studentaid.alberta.ca.

Students must submit a completed application to Alberta Scholarships in one of the following ways:

1. Login to your Alberta Student Aid Account and securely upload all required sections of the application and any supporting documents.
   
   
2. Fill out and mail applications with any supporting documents to:
