Simple Steps to Apply Online
First time applying online? Follow these simple steps:
The 2013-2014 online application for full-time studies starting August 1, 2013 will be available in mid-June.

Online Services are regularly unavailable from 3-11 a.m. on Sundays.
Step 1: Get Ready
If you are a full-time student, gather everything you need to complete your application online, including your:
Grade 12 High School Grades (your transcript or your Statement of Marks) or your Alberta or Canada student loan agreement.
Social Insurance Number
Step 2: Create Your Account
Create a new account or use your existing SIAMS account. You already have an account if you applied for post-secondary studies through Apply Alberta or previously applied for student aid. Contact us if you need help.
Step 3: Complete Your Online Application
When you apply to Student Aid Alberta, you are also automatically considered for both Alberta and Canada student loans and grants. Provide as much information as you can in response to the questions asked.
